About Me
“‘When you do what you want, not what you wish,’ said the first raven. ‘When you no longer seek your reflection in others’ eyes,’ said the second. ‘When you see yourselves face to face,’ said the third. ‘Then,’ the ravens intoned in unison, ‘you will have found what you truly seek.’”

Why Ravens?
Many people see ravens as ill omens or as a representation of death, but for me they represent resiliency, wisdom, and inner transformation.
I didn't start my journey in the creative world. I love animals and my first degree gave me the opportunity to be a certified animal nurse. I'm still very passionate about animals and their care, but after ten years in that field I experienced burn out.
A few years later, I found myself dreading the idea of continuing to work in a mundane office setting for the rest of my life. I wanted the ability to be creative at work; the ability to create.
After some soul searching I decided to go back to school to get my degree in graphic design.
It has been one of the most pivotal choices that I've made in my life so far. It's incredibly freeing to reflect within, see the bones of your soul, and change your path accordingly.
